Calcutta: A.O. Hume and C. H. T. Marshall, 1879. Book. Illus. by E. Neale. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo. Complete set of three. 144 colour lithographic plates. Original cloth bindings, very good, some rubbing and wear to corners, edges and spine, gilt bright with highly decorative front boards. Contents clean and tight, a little toned, numerous chromolithographic plates unmarked, this set was bequeathed to Exeter Library and so bears and attracive bookplate to the front pastedowns, no stamps etc. a few spots to the text and fore-edges. A very good set with wonderful illustrations..
