Front and rear free endpapers missing. Spine title: "The Game of Draughts // Gould's Book of Problems Critical Positions and Games". A reading copy, lacking the title page and one leaf of the index. Cloth covers very worn. 1/4" missing to cloth at head and tail of spine. Cloth missing along much of the tail edges of the boards. Internally tears, creasing and stains to some leaves. ; 16mo .
