About This Item
London: Macmillan, 1970. First edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8" by 5". None. A thrilling military novel by James Graham. The first edition of this military novel from James Graham (one of the pen-names of Harry Patterson), set during the Second World War. 'A Game for Heroes' stands out amongst Patterson's earlier works for its vividly-drawn setting and offbeat plot. Patterson is one of the most successful authors of his time, being the first person to sell one-million e-books. In a cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the boards. Dustwrapper has some slight edgewear and some handling marks, along with a tidemark to the tail of the spine. Ink signature to front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Very Good
