New York: Orange Judd and Company, 1868. Later printing. Hardcover. Fair. Octavo. [2], 444 pages, [2]. Frontispiece portrait of the late author. Illustrations. Restored. Half leather and green cloth binding. Four raised bands, gilt decorated lines and gilt title on spine. White, light blue, and gold embossed front and rear end sheets (wallpaper style). Front hinge is cracked open. Tissue protecting the frontispiece portrait is foxed. Title page foxed and toned. Inscription on front blank end sheet reads - "James R Dubose Washington Geo 1873." James R. Dubose name is stamped on the title page.
