New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1919. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Rust-colored cloth-covered boards are very clean but show wear at bottom spine edge corner and bottom front edge corners. Front edge of spine has a nick in the cloth near the top edge. Gilt letering on front board and on spine edge still has a lot of shine. Front board has the image of an engine stamped in. Free front end paper has a stamp from "The Aeronautic Library Inc." pasted in. Bottom of page edges has a dark smudge which doesn't affect the pages themselves. Interior is unmarked. Page 193 in the index has a very small, 1/4", edge tear. Binding is solid. Interior has 75 illustrations of various engines. Has the required (1) on last page of text indicating First Edition.
