First reprint of the first edition. The play was first performed on December 5th, 1938, at the Richmond Theatre, Richmond (UK) and produced by Gardner Davies. Octavo; (1-6), 7-83, (84), plus 4pp of advertisements for four of Hamilton's novels. A Victorian thriller in four acts. Spine missing; joints and hinges held by old selotape. Complete apart from the spine. This scarce publication with the varient pink covers is offered in unrestored state.
