Gastroscopy is unique in that it is an accepted and used method only some ten years after its introduction into America and the first publication of this book. The gastroscopic method has resulted in extraordinary progress in gastric pathology in the short span of years. This progress has made necessary a complete revision of the book" - from the Preface to the Second Edition. Book about Gastric Disease & Gastroscopy. Preface by Walter L. Palmer.
