A later satirical novel by this British Army officer, author and journalist who spent 7 years living in the Sahara Desert among the Arabs in the 1920s and who was considered one of the best British writers on the Sahara. This novel was reportedly inspired by his flight from the German army after they occupied France in World War II. 296 pp.
