Black cloth covered hardcover boards with blue blindstamp of Chinese characters gilt lettering against blue background on spine. Wear to all extremeties. Binding intact but loose. Age toning to pages, some creases to corners of some pages. Clean text, all photos intact.
DJ has large open tears to top and bottom of spine and back cover, Open tear to top of back cover. Soe water damage to back cover, open tear to top of back cover, chipping and age toning throughout. Price of $3.75 intact.
An extensive biography of Su Tungpo, humanitarian, poet, yogi, Buddhist believer and Confucianstatesman. The author, Lin Yutang, had access to extensive records of the poet's cotemporaries, 300 years before Chaucer's birth in England.
