Viking 1984 1st edition.. No inscriptions. G-VG in G+ dustwrapper (rubbed but no chips, loss, or tears).. Blue cloth boards. 128pp 8vo. "The True Story Of A Flight Over Africa". Inspired by Gurdjief, Cecil Lewis set off in the autumn of 1947 to fly from England to South Africa in the hope that he could preserve a fragment of a new religious teaching for posterity. The title comes from the Miles Gemini light aircraft that he flew.
