Some light rubbings, spines lightly sunned, 'The Times Book Club' gilt stamps to foot of spines, dusty top edges, gutters cracked, front gutter of vol 2 being the most heavily cracked, light foxing to endpapers and closed edges, owner name to front pastedowns, all plates present, and fold out map to vol 1 (which has small tear where it is attached) and fold out table of words to vol 2. Two 1-2 inch tears to the first page of vol 2, otherwise clean and tidy.. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo.
