The text block is partially detached from the cover at the top front and back of the spine. + foldout family tree (slightly torn). Blank white label has been applied to back endpaper to cover writing. The author traces his paternal lineage back 9 generations to 5 immigrant ancestors: Richard Currier of Salisbury and Amesbury, Massachusetts (1616-1686/7), emigrated from England or Scotland before 1640; Wiliam Osgood of England and Salisbury, MA (1609-1700); Abraham Morrill, who emigrated from England to New England in 1632; Robert Emmerson, who emigrated from England to New England about 1630; and Joshua Pratt, who emigrated to Plymouth, MA in 1623. Family names prominently mentioned include: DAVIS, EMERSON / EMMERSON, MORRILL, OSGOOD, PRATT, RICHARDSON, SAWYER. Rich compilation includes poetry, estate inventories, grave inscriptions, deeds, correspondence quotes, school and district records, photos of residences and portraits.
