A few small areas of wear to edges of boards; otherwise extremely fresh. The interior is nearly fine, with the slightest of foxing in a few spots and bright, sharp coloring.. 4to,. Seven hand-colored engraved title-page vignettes; 119 hand-colored engraved plates, all drawn, engraved, and colored by Latham.. Nissen I VB 532; Anker 277/278; Zimmer 371-73. Consisting of six parts and a supplement. Two index volumes and a second supplement were added in 1790 and 1802; they are not present in this set. Part II of Vol. I is mistakenly identified as "Volume II" on the title page and this has caused the binder to transpose the volume numbers on the spines of Vols. II and III.
