New York, NY: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1940. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Black cloth with gilt lettering/rule to the spine. Belonged to George Stolnitz, long time Professor of Economics at Indiana University. Dated based on Stolnitz having graduated from Princeton University with his M.A. in 1942 and the inclusion of a 16 page "blue book" , in his handwriting, from Princeton . This copy is VG. Modest rubbing to front cover, spine ends, and bottom front edge. Inside with Stolnick's armorial BP on front paste down. Firmly bound with modest toning. Extensive light pencil notes to first half of book. Erratum statement at bottom of last page.No date on title or copyright pages. SCARCE in early reprints (<1945) and with nice provenance. No DJ. .
