London: C. MacRae; W. Bulmer and Co., respectively , 1794. First Editions of each work. Half Calf, Marbled Boards. Very Good. 4to. 25 by 22 cm. 56, 74 pp. With two and three hand-colored aquatint plates in the two works, respectively. The plates are particularly handsome, depicting farm implements in use, cottages, a movable barn, etc. Contemporary calf, technically half but minimally so. The text of both volumes is surrounded by extra-wide margins as would befit a large paper version. Clean within. Wear and rubbing to cover. A very old reback preserving the orginal spine, which is mounted thereon.
