In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $3.00 on front flap, light toning to spine, archival tape repair to verso at spine, a scarce example in this condition. Includes JSA Authentication, with sticker on verso of signed leaf. Signed on the front free endpaper: "To Theodore R. _, Sincerely, J.M. Wainwright. General. U.S.A." General Jonathan M. Wainwright was the Commander of Allied Forces in the Philippines at the time of their surrender to Japan in the early days of World War II.
