Light brown pictorial cloth-backed wrappers, lg 8vo. From the series: Kew Bulletin Additional Series X, a contribution from Kew Royal Botanic Gardens. Lentinus is a genus of fungi in the family Polyporaceae. The genus is widely distributed, with many species found in subtropical regions. The genus name Lentinus is derived from the Latin lent, meaning "pliable", and inus, meaning "resembling" (from Wiki). This volume surveys the 514 specific names that have been associated with the genus Lentinus, and apart from Antarctica these tough and conspicuous basidiomes are to be found growing throughout the World. This book is signed by Nancy S. Weber, dated 11/11/85. No other ownership marks and no signs of use.
