New York: The Dial Press, 1959. STATED FIRST EDITION after a limited edition of 250 copies. Full brick colored cloth with blind stamped gilt decoration. The back board has been water stained with discoloration and transfer of color to the back panel of the dust jacket. This jacket is in good minus condition with clear tape reinforcement to the top and nbottom of spine with mild wear to the back panel. The moisture discoloration does not affect the visible part of the jacket. Overall a FAIR condition book in a GOOD Dust Jacket. George Catlin (July 26, 1796December 23, 1872) was an American painter who specialized in portraits of Native Americans in the Old West.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Full Cloth. Fair/Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Hardcover.
