The classic study of the art of the Georgian gunmaker describes the evolution of the holster pistol and the duelling pistol, with the devolpment of other types. 183pp. Norman Dixon 1920-2011 was a foremost authority on the Georgian flintlock pistol and this important work is illustrated using his own extensive collection recently dispersed at Bonhams.
