About This Item
Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Co, 1944. Pictorial boards. Very Good/Very Good. Robert Bright. Very early --but not the 1st-- printing of this charming debut title in Robert Bright's "Georgie" series. Solid and VG in a bright, price-intact ($1.75), VG dustjacket, with light chipping and creasing --and a number of very small closed tears-- along the panel edges. A touch of light offsetting as well along the flap-folds. Still though, appealing and very presentable. Oblong quarto, nicely illustrated thoughout by the author himself.
