Gerhard Richters neues abstraktes Werk mit dem Titel 4900 Farben von 2007 besteht aus einfarbigen, leuchtenden Quadraten, die zufallig angeordnet ein Gittermuster mit uberwaltigenden kaleidoskopartigen Farbfeldern ergeben. Die Lacktafelarbeit aus 24 Farben entstand im Zusammenhang mit Richters Entwurfen fur ein Kirchenfenster fur das Querhaus des Kolner Doms, das im August 2007 der Offentlichkeit ubergeben wurde und aus 11.500 handgefertigten Glasquadraten aus 72 Einzelfarben besteht. 4900 Farben setzt sich aus 192 Panelen mit Quadraten in 25 Farben zusammen, die sich in elf Varianten zusammensetzen lassen ? von einer einzigen grossen Flache bis hin zu mehreren kleinformatigen Feldern. Die Version II, 49 Gemalde, alle im Format 97 x 97 cm, hat Richter speziell fur seine Ausstellung in der Serpentine Gallery entwickelt.

The indicated shipment costs have been calculated according to the rates for shipments of up to 2 kilo. We will choose the most cost-effective shipment option, depending on the weight: either letter post or parcel post. Payment must be made before delivery; ordered books will be reserved during 12 days in expectation of payment or confirmation of shipment. Prices are net prices and free of VAT (margin arrangement) and expressed in euros. Shipment and payments costs are charged to the customer. Each shipment contains a delivery slip.
