Vernor and Hood, 1801. Hardcover. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. T Thursten. Full leather with gilt decoration, good to very good. Rubbing to spine has removed most of title and decoration, edges are also rubbed. Marble page edges and end papers with book plate, further owners inscription to blank fep. Some tanning to end papers but text largely clean throughout. Volume IV of VI featuring thee plays - Otto of Wittelsbach by James Marcus Babo, Dagobert King of the Franks by James Marcus Babo, and Conscience by Augustus William Iffland. The dates of the three plays vary between 1801 and 1800 and presumably the book was bound in its format in 1801. Each play is accompanied by an engraved frontispiece by Thursten. Text in English.
