Bright yellow boards with German eagle screened in red on front board, black endpapers, 301 pp (eccentrically paginated with Arabic sequence continuing where Roman leaves off), 15 full-page illustrations. Top edge lightly soiled, gift inscription dated 1970 on preliminary blank, else fine. DJ browned about edges, spine faded with a couple of spots, chips and two 1" tears to top of rear panel, which also has remains of a price sticker; in Brodart archival cover. "Of German Ways will interest German-American descendants who recall bits of the old Gemütlichkeit in their background as well as the general reader who wishes to learn about the impact of German immigration on America."
