(Cape Town: Unie-Volkspers, 1938). Author's presentation inscription to his brother on front free endpaper. 8vo; grey cloth, lettered in black on spine and upper cover; no dustwrapper; pp. 218. Spine slightly cocked and partially tanned; some foxing to endpapers and edges, occasional fox spot elsewhere. Good condition. Afrikaans text. (Nienaber I, p. 159) Holmer Johanssen was the pseudonym of Johan Frederik Holleman (1915-2001), whose slim output attracted critical acclaim. .
