1 . hardback. Good. Edited by Miss Leslie. Illustrated. 1st ed. Phila (Carey & Hart) (1839). A collection of 32 short stories including "William Wilson" by Edgar Allan Poe (25pp), and "Deacon Enos" by Harriet Beecher Stowe (44pp). Black morocco, elaborately gilt. Hinges very rubbed, and plates rather foxed. Spine chipped and inner front hinge cracked. Few marginal pencillings, but generally a good copy. All edges gilt.
