Slight cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and binding to be loose. However, boards and pages throughout remain attached. Pages and illustrations are lightly tanned throughout. Stain to rear free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall.

Book clean and square. Spine firm, bumped on head and heel. Blue, original cloth boards minimally edgeworn only. Textblock edges tanned, else leaves unmarked. No dustjacket. In this fourth 'Gimlet' adventure, Cub, Copper and Trapper are called to a meeting in Brummel Square. London. There they meet up with Gimlet and General Sir George Craig whom they had met previously. The General needs our heroes' help tracking down members of a Nazi underground movement known as the 'Werewolves' who, although the war is over, are attempting to kidnap and try, after a mock trial, prominent Britains . . .
