Leicester, England: The Brockhampton Press Ltd., 1950. Cover: bluey-grey cloth on boards with diamond shaped impressions and Scotty dogs; very light dusting of a little soiling. Spine: moderately sunned. Edges: moderate aged yellowing, few only foxings and a touch soiling. Eps: ffep with signature stamp and a faded small booksellers stamp to foot. Binding is VG albeit slighlty cocked. 191p Dj: moderate soiling and rubbings. Spine: head & foot with thin wear and chips; 1cm split to foot frontside edge. Front flap spine with open splits and small section in between holding on. Angled price-cut to front flap foot.. Second Impression. Hb. VG/VG. Illus. by Leslie Stead.
