Hutchinson, 1989. 1st edition. Hardcover. Very near fine, some light creasing at the corners of a few pages, else very clean throughout, in a very near fine dustwrapper, slight corner nicks. Nice copy of the hardest of the author's novels to find. Signed by the author on his agent's compliments slip, laid in.
Synopsis
Sebastian Faulks was born in 1953 and educated at Wellington College and Cambridge. He was a journalist and reviewer for fourteen years and is now a full-time writer. His novels include Birdsong, A Fool’s Alphabet, The Girl at the Lion D’Or and Charlotte Gray . He has also edited The Vintage Book of War Stories .
