[7"X5.25"] Green cloth, with yellow spine and cover lettering and decoration. 694 pages, with Appendix and Index. Some darkening to paste downs and guttering. No names or marks. Illustrated dust-jacket is worn and torn, with front panel separated along spine edge (now held together by mylar cover), and pieces missing on top and bottom of rear panel.
A solid, unmarked copy in dust-jacket of the the second printing (1941) of the New Edition, first published in October, 1940.
