"That the Girondins formed a united political party, comparable with and opposed to the party of Robespierre and the Montagnards, has been asserted by many historians of the French Revolution." 252 pages, with bibliography and index. Blue cloth covers with gilt title lettering on spine. Cover corners and edges are bumped and lightly rubbed, minor scuffing to cover faces, cuts to cloth in middle of spine, spine ends are bent and starting to fray. DJ is Good- with chipping and creasing to edges, tears to corners, spine is faded from sun exposure, evidence of scotch tape use on back of DJ at top spine, large cut in middle of spine, spine ends are torn and loose. Loose hinges, particularly front. Interior pages clean, tight. Book in VG/VG+ condition.. Cloth. Very Good/Good-. Illus. by Photographs. Size: Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 3/4". France.
