Strong and bright. 78pp. Internally clean and fresh. A rather scarce and idiosyncratic piece of Lawrence, and one over which he apparently laboured, making numerous alterations to the original manuscript. Unusually enough one of only a handful of supernatural related Lawrence pieces, this one deals with a grief stricken man unable to move on with his life for fear of upsetting the ghost of his former wife.
