Good+ (overall shelf wear to wraps with small tears and staining, age toning lightly to pages but text and illustrations are all clear).. Off-white wraps with red lettering and woodcut by Aldo Patocchi on front cover, spine has red lettering, 18 pp, pages A-P, 240 pp, illustrated in bw and color with many tipped-in color plates on cardstock. Errata slip laid-in. Text in Italian. This is volume 7 of a 9 volume set. Printed in edition of 500 copies. Compiled by and at the expense of Cesare Ratte, Director of the School of Typographic Art of the municipality of Bologna. Collection of woodcuts, etchings, lithographs, charcoals, watercolors, sanguine, white and black, etc. of 106 Italian artists, 240 tables and 410 drawings in black and color. Includes an index of the artists and number of tables where they are represented. Artists included: Enzo Bifoli, Guido Cadorin, Carlo Cainelli, Giuseppe Carois, Alberto Coppa, Nino Finamore, Giovanni Fumagalli, Francesco Gamba, Adolfo Magrini, A. Marcolongo, Bruno Marsili, Paolo Paschetto, Alberto Salietti, Gorgone Tanozzi, Reggio Venturini Venturino, Alberto Zanverdiani, and many others. Also includes an analytical index of the artists and the subjects of the tables.
