About This Item
1973. 155 pp. b/w photos. A story of the American frontier and some of the pioneers that settled it. The author who born in the Cherokee Strip of Oklahoma soon after it was opened to white settlers on September 16, 1893. DJ has a 1/2" tear to bottom edge front, a few spots of stains and a circle left by a tea cup on the front. New plastic cover. A sticker of author's name and address on bottom of front flap. Corner clip to top of front flap but $5.00 hand written below clip. Illustrated, golden cloth on boards binding has bumps to corners and a crease to bottom corner front; a few spots of stain to back cover. Former owner's name on ffep as well as an inscription from the author to the purchaser of the book. The text is clean and secure, a small bend to bottom corner of the pages, not a major flaw. A very interesting book printed by the Mennonite Press, North Newton, Kansas.. Signed by Author. Presumed First. HC and DJ. Good -/Fair. .9 1/4 x 6 1/4.
