An outstanding example of fine presswork, printed on handmade Van Gelder paper, with Batcheller's travelogue serving as a vehicle for the various forms of mechanical photo printing in gravure, halftone and color.Condition of this book:Near fine, boards curling away from fore edge, just a little. Special Limited Edition, first issue in this format. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
