Belonged to John Hopley who was a prominent Rhodesian farmer, a Judge in the Cape, a 3 x capped Rugby player for England and maybe Britain's finest amateur boxer, (see other books in this catalogue). On the ffep J H has written page number 228, where he has made a notation. 288pp no index. This is Corri's earlier book and extremely rare. This book is signed by Stan Christodoulou, who is Corris' successor and equal in fame. Stan was inducted into Boxing's Hall of Fame in 2004 and has since clocked up over 50 years as a top-class international referee and has also written a book entitled "The Life and Times of Stanley Christodoulou" .
