Full rich red leather, gilt decorated and imprinted, spine panels rib divided, All Edges Gilt, deep red moire endpapers, with crimson satin page-marker ribbon. Franklin's as-always lavish binding in a limited signed edition of Drury's 1976 historical novel about the very singular and enigmatic pharaoh Akhenaten, who attempted, with temporary success, to institute a new, monotheistic (-ish) religion in Egypt in the second millennium BC. Drury followed this novel with 'Return to Thebes'. The Franklin Library, doing what they did best. As New; pristine and flawless. As bright, tight and immaculate as it was on its first day in 1981.
