A First Edition, first printing, from 1970, this hardcover octavo has deep blue textured cloth with white band & gilt lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: completely bright & clean save for former owner's stamp to half title page & significant foxing to fore edge, dust dulling to top outside page edges, rather heavy bump to outer-upper corner of front board. Else, binding straight & strong; pages white with very mild foxing to title page, scattered on other pages, else unmarked. The unclipped DJ (with "1.75 p, 35 s net" British price intact on lower front flap) is also Near Fine: bright & colorful & completely with NO fading, but a bit of light rubbing to gilt in title; nicely protected in new mylar cover free!
