[Viii] pp prelim material, 158 numbered pp. Author's intro, t-o-c, sections on: On Learning to Pray, Prayers through a month, Festivals and Special Church Days, Sacred Days and Special Occasions, Home and Family, In Nature's Realm, National Holidays, and Selected Prayers; each prayer is accompanied by an appropriate scriptural reference. Condition notes: a fine, clean, tight, square copy. Light wear/rubbing, and a small closed tear to unclipped dj; interior clean and bright. Signed by author on title page. Johan Carl Keyser Preus (1881-1983) was a prominent Lutheran church leader in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and other locations during his long career. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
