Sydney, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Sydney, 1933 (first edition). Octavo, x, 285, [1] (colophon), 26 (publisher's catalogue) pages with an illustration plus 35 plates and 2 maps on the front endpaper. Orange cloth lettered and ruled in black; spine a little sunned and slightly frayed at the ends; joints rubbed, with minimal wear in one tiny spot; an excellent copy (and essentially fine internally). The book is based on the life of Cecil John Levien (1874-1932), district officer and mining promoter (see the 'Australian Dictionary of Biography').
