For having given aid to a deserving Soviet double agent in MOSCOW METAL, Doc Adams was willed the deceased agent's farm in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. *****Once there, Doc and his wife discovered four Harley Davidson motorcycles carefully hidden in the back of their barn. Soon after, four corpses appeared buried just over a creek from Adams property. A giant madman is suspected, and indeed stalks Doc and his family. ***** A personal comment: this was an unusally good detective thriller. Until the very end I misread fair clues and had the wrong idea about who was the real killer. Maybe you will be quicker than I. In any event, I think you will have great fun in following Doc's mental processes and sympathy for him ith him as he is trampled by a horse at the county fair. Not to mention Doc Adams's final encounter with the person out to kill him. -OOO-
