About This Item
28 Hyde Park Place, 1 June 1868. 4 pp. 7 x 4½ inches, in good condition. Alexander Kinglake (1809-1891), historian, author of The Invasion of the Crimea. The working classes have been so besprinkled with tracts & other indoctrinating publications that I imagine they have a not unwise suspicion, by this time, of every publication presented to them gratuitously.
