Crowell, 1955. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Hardback, 1955, Crowell. VG book in VG- dustjacket. Full bound red boards with black lettering to spine. Bump with small indent to top edge of front board; edgewear, mostly at head and heel of spine. Binding is solid and square, internally clean and bright. Dustjacket very slightly faded at spine; 1/2 inch chip to top edge of front panel, 1/2 inch closed tear to upper front edge; 1/2 inch tear with some loss to upper rear edge. Some wear with tiny chips at head of spine. Price of $3.50 intact on front inner flap. " A fast and funny novel about an atomic age alchemist-in-reverse, who succeded in turning gold into dirt - and Washington, D.C. into a near shambles!"
