W.L. CHASE & CO., BOSTON, NY, 1911. 9.5" X 5" IN maroon hard covers with fancy gilt cover decoration and lettering. Heavy wear all along spine and on edges of covers. The color maps, the descriptive passages giving directions for the journey and the pages of cute 19 - teen ads are all in excellent condition: GOOD. These were the days before the federal highway system. Different private organizations marked routes and then published books to help motorists find their way. Plates [maps] in this book are numbered, but pages are not. [BD060]. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
