Originally written in 1900, this is the 39th printing of the 1928 edition, which maintains all 74 of the original illustrations & rhymes. Hardcover book has light yellow cloth-covered boards decorated with brown lettering & images. Condition is VG: extremely clean, binding tight & square, pages off-white, but NO foxing. NO writing, highlighting or underlining; NOT ex-lib. Flaws: lightly bumped corners, former owner's bookplate inside front cover. The unclipped DJ (with orig. $2.75 price intact) is downgraded to only Good due to minor edgewear all around, including some small chips & tears. Nicely protected in new archival mylar cover FREE!
