Book #3 of ten in this early-20th-century series featuring adventuresome young Grace Harlowe & her friends as they went from high school to college, overseas to Europe, &, in this final series, back to the US for some adventures on horseback around the country. Orig. published in 1922, this is one of the reprint editions from Saalfield, in 253 pages with frontispiece & 3 internal illustrations. With deep red cloth-covered boards stamped with a black design & lettering to front & spine, this hardcover 12mo is in VG condition: quite clean & bright, binding strong & straight, front hinge cracked, rear hinge starting. Pages heavily tanned, but still supple, & completely unmarked save for a random spot or smudge; outside fore edge darkened with some spotting (not foxing) to lower outside edges. Liight-moderate rubbing to extremities & bumping to corners & spine tips. NO DJ (missing). Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
