London: Day and Son, Limited, 1865. Second Edition. Good+. Second edition. 157 pp. with color plates numbered to 100 as in original edition and as called for in table of contents, although title page erroneously calls for 112. Bound in period half morocco & cloth, spine lettered in gilt, raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Good+ with chip to spine at bottom, hinges cracked but holding at front and back board, stain to rear board, edge-wear, wear along fore edge of title page, name on ffep. A stunning example of chromolithography cataloguing ornamentation throughout history.
