Per the jacket flap, "This volume presents the Greek myths in English translations of the Greek and Roman poets." Edited, with an introduction, by F. R. B. Godolphin, who has attempted to include as many influential ancient myths as possible in this anthology. --- In Toledano G6 spine / blue cloth / gilt-stamped ML cover hex device / spine titling & decorations in gilt and red / blank GA style endpapers / dust jacket style Gg, verso is blank. Interior bears 1946 date but likely published c.1964. ML #G89.1. --- The front free endpaper has been cut out, loosened front and rear hinges have been carefully repaired prior to this listing and with prior owner's inked remarks to rear paste-down; otherwise a clean, tightly-bound, stable copy. Fair-only dust jacket with plenty of chips and tears but mostly intact and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; Octavo - 8 to 9 in. tall; xxxi, 469 pages .
