Dickens' classic coming-of-age story, set in Victorian England, featuring an orphan nicknamed "Pip" and some of his most memorable characters including the eccentric Miss Havisham and her daughter Estella. Introduction by John T. Winterich and illustrations by Edward Ardizzone. 457 pp. Richly bound in maroon leather with gilt ornamentation and lettering, moire silk endpapers with bound-in ribbon place marker. All leaf edges gilt. Previous owner's Easton bookplate neatly affixed to front endpapers otherwise fine condition - unread and unmarked.
