Hardback small octavo, dustjacket, as new condition (in as new dustjacket), printed autograph front flap, minimal edgewear. 195 pp. Classic of crime fiction, originally serialised in the Melbourne 'Herald' in 1933, the year after the mysterious death of Phar Lap. Not previously published as a book. Edited with introduction by Stuart Mayne. This is not a Napoleon Bonaparte story - however it is full of the wonderful Upfield magic way of writing a great story. (Excellent copy. Incorrect ISBN printed on rear cover jacket: 1875892583.).
