Book is tight, square, and unmarked but inscription to a former owner in 1944 on the RFFP and in pencil on the FFFP. Book Condition: Very Good; light bottom edge shelfwear; scant flaking of gilt on spine. DJ: Poor; NOT Price Clipped ($3.75); price is partially inked over in pen; wear to flap edges; missing pieces on spine; chipping along edges. Blue cloth boards and spine with gilt lettering on the spine and Hudson Crest on front board in gilt. Maps as endpapers. 94 numbered pages 4to. The story of the Hudson is the story of America says the author and photographer. This book of photos (300) and prose records the magnificence of the great river valley and the most revealing pictorial study of an American region and its life yet undertaken. A clean very presentable copy rare with the DJ and a signature.
